Foolproof Canned Tuna/Salmon Recipe (GF, DF, Soy Free)

I’m all about 10 ingredient or less recipes and this canned salmon/tuna recipe is top on that list. In my opinion, if you have canned fish in the house, you can always make a meal.

Ingredients (makes 2 servings)

  • 1 can salmon/tuna, wild preferred

  • ½ lemon, juiced

  • Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt, pepper and parsley to taste (I like to add a lot of parsley)

  • 1 TBSP mustard (stadium mustard, dijon, your choice!)

  • Optional - add a dash of red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar, parsley, oregano, lemon zest

Directions:

  • Open the can of fish, drain the water in the sink, move fish to empty bowl and separate with a fork

  • Add lemon juice, EVOO, salt, pepper, parsley, mustard and mix until ingredients are blended

  • Enjoy on salad, with crackers, in romaine boats, with avocado or alone for a delicious protein packed meal/snack!
