Welcome to Three Pillars Wellness, I’m glad you're on this journey with me. Some of the topics I will share with you are easy and nutritious recipes, clean skincare, my favorite kitchen products, healing supplements and health advice to promote longevity, gut health, and vitality, and more

Before we jump in, I want to address what may be on your mind.

  1. Why did I decide to become a Certified Nutrition Consultant?

  2. What does the “three” in Three Pillars Wellness stand for?

  3. What does a Nutrition Consultant even do?

1. Why did I decided to become a Certified Nutrition Consultant?

I was sick of feeling sick all the time and knew my symptoms were not normal. How many times have you gone to the doctor and were told everything is fine? For me, this was a common occurrence until I saw my first naturopathic doctor that ran holistic testing to address the root of my symptoms. Spoiler alert - I had a parasite, severe food intolerances, hypothyroid, gut issues and systemic inflammation. The combination of these conditions going undiscovered propelled me on a lifelong journey to discover wellness in my everyday life.

Although healing took me a few years (nothing worthwhile is a quick fix), I feel confident my experience will allow me to better serve my current and future clients.

2. What does the “three” in Three Pillars Wellness stand for?

I believe health is ever changing, but there are three constants; body, mind, and spirit. According to some, the number three brings optimism, luck, and an abundance of energy. By focusing on body, mind, and spirit, I believe we can all find vitality and health.

For me, discovering health and the balance in my body, mind and spirit took time. There was no overnight “cure” that we are so often prescribed. This shift came from small adjustments that led to me feeling at ease and at peace with myself. I no longer relied on external cues of validation, and listened to the food my body craved. I share this as someone who has experienced disordered eating, food intolerances and a host of other stomach issues. You too can find peace with your body, mind and spirit and learn to honor your health.

3. What does a Nutrition Consultant even do?

NC’s assist in many areas from behavioral changes to nutritional planning. NC’s work with a wide range of symptoms from bloat, acne, and eczema to digestive issues, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions (to name a few).

In my practice, I support clients in their various wellness goals via one on one coaching and 24/7 text and email support. I am happiest when helping clients learn about their bodies, better understand how lifestyle and nutrition impact their health, and investigate the root cause of their health issues. If this sounds like the support you may need, please reach out!

Before I sign off I wanted to share a powerful quote from Dr. Frank Lipman.

"Where Western medicine often approaches health with 'you’re fine until the day you are not,' Good Medicine does not see 'health' and 'illness' as polar extremes."

This quote sums up my life purpose as an NC. I aim to support clients in living their healthiest life by discovering the root cause of symptoms and utilizing natural resources like organic foods, herbs, mindful movement and stress management to fuel our bodies.

As I begin this journey, it’s important for me to connect with you. I am always open to feedback to better support my community and ultimately do this work to educate my community, clients, friends, family, and those that want to take the first step in claiming their health. If my platform resonates with you, please share my resources with your community, it would mean the world to me. In the interim, you can catch me on Instagram @three_pillars_wellness or visit my website @tpwellness.org.

In good health,
Morgan
